A dynamic communications strategist and public relations executive with 15+ years of experience elevating the visibility and enhancing the reputations of a diverse array of remarkable brands. My professional journey spans multibillion-dollar, publicly-traded Fortune 500 global brands, high-growth startups, mission-driven nonprofits, and influential trade associations.
In that time, I have honed my expertise across private, public, and nonprofit sectors, consulting agencies, broadcast, publishing, and digital media. My early career includes substantial volunteer service and internships in military public affairs and political environments. This broad industry experience enables me to bring a wealth of knowledge and a multifaceted perspective to every project I undertake.
Today, I’m a full-time consultant. I help organizations tell their stories, enhance relationships, protect reputations, and advocate for causes that matter. Together, we uncover creative ways to connect with the stakeholders that matter most and inspire action through creative, persuasive, and savvy strategies. My approach strives to strike the right balance of strategic counsel and tactical proficiency to lead winning campaigns that achieve real, measurable results.
In recent years, I’ve also held prominent roles with leading companies and influential agencies. Most recently, I oversaw corporate communications and public relations for Toll Brothers Apartment Living®, the multifamily division of Toll Brothers (NYSE: TOL), a Fortune 500 company and the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes. Previously, I was the Director of Digital Strategy and Senior Communications Manager for Maier & Warner, an award-winning marketing and public relations agency specializing commercial real estate firms and major economic development initiatives in the Washington, DC region. My journey in Washington, DC began as Senior Associate of Dale Curtis Communications, an advocacy communications firm specializing in representing corporate government affairs and trade associations in the nation’s capital. Lately, I’ve also earned lecturing experience in strategic communication and public affairs at the college level.
Originally from northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast, today I live and work in the Washington DC-Baltimore region. I hold a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University, and a bachelor’s degree in organization communication with a minor in marketing from the University of West Florida.
